The GareGoji model in the above pic is a beauty.
But I will just never like that design.

I wanted to buy a GODZILLA 2014 but apparently Toho never licensed it.
frown

There were plenty of 2014 Godzillas: Neca released small ones and a big one for reasonable prices (still available). X-Plus released "Garegoji" in there 30cm line which also got released and re-released through Diamond Toys (USA).

The pic is actually the DohaGoji (a design that is of course based heavily on GareGoji).

I stand corrected, good sir.
But they do look similar enough to me, I'm afraid.

Looks a lot like the 54 version which I think was on purpose since it was a reboot of sorts. Ive made it no secret I like classic Godzilla design over the 90's on.

This is pretty cool! A young Obi Wan with Alec Guinness likeness.

Geek-hobbyists affectionate group, I have a friend who just looks-on his toy mass what's the point no-no moving. Any-one remember that movie "Falling Down" the mother shouting "Don't Touch It."
Personally, I don't see fulfilment as a kid I did for sure that chapter closed, what real-use do adult hobbyists get off this toy-makers are giggling £. Toys back then today are conning the market I've seen toys that don't resemble characters, example "Steven" Dawn of the Dead that figure looks crap & costly.

Because adults--not children--buy toys.

If said toys are from a specific long-ago era, they are expensive because the oldsters who still(!) buy that stuff allegedly have the disposable income ..not many non-Boomers have much of an interest in, say, Gunsmoke merchandise.

Riotengine does.

This is on the same subject but different collectible. Baseball cards. When my brother and I decided to start spending couch change on baseball cards and storing them in a basement, we soon realized that we were collecting the wrong era. Late 80’s and 90s probably have the worst value in baseball card history. I guess every kid decided to have the same hobby and card companies overproduced and now you can go to a Goodwill or garage sale and buy a sealed box set of 1991 Score or Topps dirt cheap. The sets I kept I probably can’t even give away.

I should of begged my parents of buying that GI Joe USS Flagg and kept that in a box. That thing is still a hot item.

You know what might be cool?

If your mail box was like this toy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4kfEsfFgjE

So the mail man has to push up some levers, but at the same time, unknown to him, the mail drops threw a secret hatch, into an air tube, and is sucked into the home, so it's like it really "transported".

Ironically, I blame this mindset on a particular Amazing Stories episode starring Mark Hamill, "Gather Ye Acorns". I suspect many a speculator was formed that day.
