1960’s Psycho was at the time (including throughout its primary creator’s career), the most audacious cinematic assault ever perpetrated on the movie going public or the Motion Picture Production Code for that matter. Not that it matters but have you noticed that some of the sound effects are different from the original film release.
Different and more pronounced than usual. Especially when Marion is awaken in the morning by the policeman, Norman cleaning up after the murder, and the shower murder itself.
